Activities: The St. Anthony Sand Dunes are located in the heart of a multitude of awesome adventures. Add some of these to your “must do” list when visiting our spectacular area:
- Tour Yellowstone National Park (just one hour north on Highway 20)
- Fly fish the South Fork of the Snake River (Lorenzo Bridge boat ramp is 20 minutes south on Highway 20)
- Visit Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the Grand Teton Mountain Range (a mere hour-and-a-half southeast)
- Take a leisurely 29 mile drive on the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway (30 minutes northeast) and see the breathtaking 114 foot Upper Mesa Falls and the 85 foot Lower Mesa Falls
- Drive through Yellowstone Bear World ( 15 minutes south on Highway 20) and get a close-up view of elk, black bear , grizzly bear and much more
- Visit the Rexburg, Idaho LDS Temple (10 minutes south on Highway 20)
- Drive to beautiful Island Park, Idaho (40 minutes north) and enjoy several outdoor activities including wonderful fishing on the Island Park Reservoir and Henry’s Lake
- Try horseback riding at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes in the summer and snowmobile on them in the winter
- Rexburg’s BYU-Idaho College in Rexburg, ID

Area Events You Won't Want to Miss...1st July - 14th July: The Madison County Fair
- Held at the Rexburg Fairgrounds
- Fireworks presented at the Rexburg Fairgrounds
- Idaho Falls fireworks presented on the greenbelt of the Snake River in downtown, featuring the largest display of fireworks this side of the Mississippi
- Parade and fun on Main Street in St. Anthony
